Personality: Devin is normally an 'angry at the world' kid, he's only ever warmed up to a very few people. He's very self-serving in his reasons and doesn't much care for other people outside of life and death situations. His honesty is one of his worst traits, as he is extremely brutal and blunt about it. Devin has a VERY nasty temper. He has a soft spot for beautiful contest appeals.
Brief History: (continued from application) boy to emerge. He quickly began exploring the Moeras faction of the region, internally loving the climate and it's people, although he never showed it. His cold demeanor keeping himself at just the right distance from others to keep himself safe. He would very rarely visit his home in Olan and as a result, he grew distant from his parents, more attached and reliant on his Pokemon.
Misc: Devin normally kept his hair a turquoise color because of the fact that neither of his parents had dark black hair. Since he's let it grow out, he now thinks it looks interesting and gives him an icy look and doesn't want to dye it again.

Name: Dimitri
Species: Beartic
Gender: Male
Nature: Lonely
Characteristic: Quick tempered
Ability: Snow Cloak
Moveset: Icicle Crash, Brick Break, Night Slash, Hone Claws
Misc: Contrary to it's Lonely nature, Dimitri has only ever Let Devin into his heart. Though at times, even Devin has trouble getting through to the large Ice type. Devin normally uses these times to train Dimitri, as it seems he does a better job.

Devin's first and main Pokemon. On a trip through Twist Mountain on his way to Mistralton City with his parents, he'd slipped off of a ledge and fell into a pit full of Cryogonal. Enraged, they had forgotten all about their other uninvited guest, a lone Cubchoo. The mass of Crystal Pokemon attacked Devin. Noting the fear in the boy, Dimitri went on a rampage, taking down every last one of the Cryogonal, and at some point during event, he evolved. From that point, this particular Beartic stood by Devin's side as a bodyguard until the boy was able to begin training him.

Species: Venomoth (shiny)
Gender: Male
Nature: Rash
Characteristic: Often lost in thought
Ability: Tinted Lens
Moveset: Roost, Sleep Powder, Sludge Bomb, Bug Buzz
Misc: Berry is very odd Venomoth, not only is he a shiny, he loves to just sit and watch things very intensely, even grass growing at one time. And when it comes to people who might be creeped out by his constant staring, he tries to study them even further. He also very much enjoys staring contests, in fact one time he'd spent nearly an entire day having a staring contest with himself in a mirror.

Devin's first Pokemon in Moeras, He had never seen a blue Venomoth and figured it had to have been something special. So he caught it and went to have it checked out, to be sure. As it turned out, it was a very rare 'shiny', as the nurse had put it. Devin is very proud to have and show off such a rare Pokemon, but at times, the constant stare does creep him out.

Species: Cloyster (sideways shell as the sprites in the Red/Blue games)
Gender: Female
Nature: Impish
Characteristic: Mischievous
Ability: Skill Link
Moveset: Iron Defense, Icicle Spear, Clamp, Razor Shell
Misc: Opal likes to trick inexperienced opponents into thinking she's a Shellder with her horizontal shape. Easy prey, she likes to believe. She's also acts as Devin's alarm clock many times, waking him up early by clamping down on his hands or feet.

Opal was originally caught as a Shellder, too small to resist, Berry took her from one of the shorelines and brought her to Devin. As the boy tried to put her back, Berry just brought her to him again. A simple examination of the small Pokemon revealed that she was sick and too small and frail to care for herself. After a few moments of consideration from Devin, he decided to help her get better then he'd take her back to the ocean. Over the few weeks of recuperation, Opal had grown attached to Devin, literally and metaphorically. As the time came to get her back home, she didn't want to leave, and latched herself to Devin's leg until he just decided to catch her.
