This was for who requested simply, "a picture of Lugia and Ambipom" Sooo this is what I came up with. And to be frank, this exceeded my expectations... I'm used to a low level of work but I'm quite surprised with myself for this.
Sorry it took me a while to actually assess the picture properly ajsdkfl;asjdfa;sdfsf
Anyway....I really love this piece! The background and the atmosphere is quite spot-on for a incoming stand-off or battle.
But the backgrounds seem...flat? I know that the caves/rocks are in the background behind the Pokemons but they all look like they aer on the same plane....the foreground and background seem the same and not very 3-dimensional. Also the pool collecting the waterfall's water is kinda too cut-off and I was not sure what it was until I had a second look.
Maybe you should make the caves seem more distant by making the objects at the way back lighter? Just try out diff coloring techniques and you could improve the piece (if you wish).
Ahahah! No problem! I'm glad you took the time out of your busy schedule! I completely understand!
I see... Thank you for the tips! Though, I have to ask. The far back, lighter? As is in less color or less of a shade? I just want to be sure what you meant.
Less color or many just less detail. You can try putting a slight blur to things you consider far from the main action (the main action being the Pokemons)

Hope this helped!
