Yes, journal on the new Pokemon games, X and Y. I am happy to see that they made them for the 3DS, it means that my money wasn't wasted on getting one!
Alright, can we just start by saying that I will not, at all, be able to choose between those starters. I adore each of their designs. I guess I'm going to have to keep watch on evolutions..
Chispin is probably the cutest in my opinion, however it's design is the most obscure, you can only really tell it's a Chipmunk due to it's face and name, maybe a few other factors, but nothing overly noticeable thanks to the pacing of the video. (I might go to tumblr to see if there are any HQ pictures where I can look closer)
Fennikin, I love this name, you know exactly what it's based on. Design wise, it's a little plain, but evolutions have a way of fixing that. There's really not much to say about this one. It'll probably be my first starter of the games though, mainly because in a tie, I tend to choose the Fire type more often than not.
And Froakie, this baby has a wonderful design, it's got so many possibilities from what I can see. Again, there isn't much to say about it.
I'm really curious to see what's been planned for them. I believe Chespin might become part Dark, I'm not sure but the attack it used on Golurk but it seemed to be Faint Attack. At least the coloring leads me to believe it. I feel that Fennikin will be part Psychic type, mostly because in the trailer, it seems to use Psychic or Confusion or some other type of attack. And it didn't show much variation for Froakie, other than what looked to be water attacks, though I have a suspicion as to what it's second attack was, I'd rather not be wrong.
Onto the two new Legendaries...

I mean, Freaking.... wow...
I can't really comment much on them, I love the buck though. It reminds me of Shishi-gami (The forest spirit from Princess Mononoke) . I can't wait to find out more about them.
Unfortunately, the preview showed nothing in the way of other new Pokemon, which I am a little disappointed about, but this is only the first trailer, I'm sure there will be a few more.
Also, the graphics are amazing. And that is that. Also, he scene where it shows what appears to be a laboratory in the distance, you guys have no idea how stoked I am to learn more about that. No. Freaking. Idea.
